SUNDAY SCHOOL ( 9.30am )

We have Sunday School each Sunday for all ages – from Nursery to Adults. Our Sunday School Ministry is designed to ground the students systematically and progressively in the Word of God. We have classes for both the adults, young adults and teens.

SUNDAY SERVICE ( 11.00am )
The emphasis of the Service is on worship, singing, prayers and the preaching of the Word of God. On every last Sunday of the month we usually have baptism, an in-house lunch provided by the church, and business meeting when required. Our last Sunday of the month is also geared towards Evangelism where we make special efforts to invite our loved ones and friends to hear of the gospel. A Nursery for the mothers and babies is also available. We provide a live telecast of the church service in the Nursery.

YOUTH FELLOWSHIP
We have a Youth Fellowship which is usually held on Saturdays. The regular program consists of bible study, outings, games, tracting and visitation. There will usually be a Youth Camp in June or/and December. The objectives are: to provide an avenue for the youths to study the bible and to enjoy healthy Christian fellowship. Lessons are catered to meet the needs of the youths.

CHINESE MINISTRY
We have a separate Chinese-speaking congregation. Beside the regular Sunday School and Services, they have the weekdays bible studies and occasional outings.

CHILDREN MINISTRY
Our Children Ministry operates largely through the Sunday School, Children Chapel, and outings and camps during the holidays. A pool of committed teachers and helpers serves in this ministry.

LITERATURE MINISTRY
We strongly believe in the ministry of the printed page to reach out to the masses. Our church has a wide variety of Christian literature – tracts, books, VCDs, etc for the people to have and to share with their friends. A Literature Table outside the church hall is set up every Sunday. In addition, we have our church website which is equipped with a large array of Christian resources and links. We also have an OVERSEAS LITERATURE FUND in which we print Christian books and literature to be sent free-of-charge to Independent Baptist Churches in third-world countries.

LADIES’ FELLOWSHIP
We have a ladies’ bible study group meeting on a fortnightly basis and a ladies’ gathering on a quarterly basis. This gatherings provide for the much-needed fellowship and in-depth learning to the ladies in the church. The lessons are usually catered to their needs as they manage their families and homes.

MISSION TRIPS
Each year, our church will do one Mission Trip to visit the Baptist churches especially in the Asia-Pacific Rim ( Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines, Fiji, etc ). Our purposes are to see, understand and identify with the Baptist works over there with a mind to help them in the furtherance of the gospel works.

BIBLE INSTITUTE
Our Bible Institute is linked to the Faith Bible Institute in the United States. This is a comprehensive, 3-year, diploma program with the DVDs of the lectures being used in the church on a weekly basis. In addition, we have an in-house Bible Institute, the Shalom Bible Institute.

FOREIGN MISSIONS
We are a strong advocate on foreign missions and by 2011, we are helping to support some 67 Baptist missionaries. 4 of these missionaries are from our church – Pastor Ter, Pastor John Tan, Bro Eric Tan and Pastor C. H. Soh

Bible Study Centers:
Bible Study Centres are generally held in the homes of the church members. As it is usually more impersonal and difficult to interact meaningfully after church services, Bible Study Centres are catered to meet the following objectives:

1) To allow for a more personal and interactive Bible study session where provisions are made for inquiries or questions, and the sharing of individual viewpoints.

2) To provide for a closer fellowship in a smaller setting among the people. Meaningful and personal communication of hearts can only take place in a smaller group. The purpose is to provide for a healthy bonding among the people. However, Bible Study Centres are never intended to be exclusive or to neglect others outside the groups.

3) To pray for the individual and church needs which are made known during each session.

4) To serve together in the visitation of members within the group or to do tracting in a given vicinity.

FREQUENCY:

1) First week : Bible Study

2) Second week : Visitation

3) Third week : Bible Study

4) Fourth week : Visitation

And the whole process is repeated subsequently.

Please call the church office at 64637910, to determine the programs for these Bible Study Centres. All are welcome. Do join one of these Bible Study Centers closest to your home. This is probably the best way to know the church members more personally.
