Dear Pastors and Prayer Partners,

Our appreciation and prayers in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,

We are grateful for His grace that strengthens us in the work of ministry and we are thankful for your kindly prayers, mercy, and supports for us here.

We would like to share you what God has done by His grace through His servants here in Indonesia for the last three months, as follows.

First Independent Baptist Church, Jakarta

During three months, we have 4 converts baptized. They were Atun, Angga, Agus, and Gultom. In July 21st-29th, we have an opportunity to serve in Bali. We went to our mission churches there. First, we went to Sanur, Denpasar where we ordained Bro. Otniel, who graduated from our Bible College, as a pastor in Sanur Baptist Church on July 23rd. Brother Otniel is married with two children. We also visited Singaraja, where Bro. I Wayan Pait Sanjaya and his wife, Enny serve there. Both of them were graduated from our Bible College too. In August 2nd, we also ordained Bro. Simon Nainggolan as a pastor in Kranji Baptist Church, West Java. Previously, Kranji was our mission church and now she has her own pastor graduated from Bible College and now has married and a daughter.

FIBC's Bible College, Jakarta

In the midst of June, 2008 our Bible College graduated 10 students. Five students were from undergraduate program: (1) Sehati Halawa, who then to be sent to Hilifaema Village, South Nias. He is planting a church on the hills, near the forests where the people live in a poor condition without electricity. There were 9 people baptized there. (2) Daino. He was sent out to Terentang, Pontianak, West Kalimantan. And he has baptized 9 converts near Kapuas River. (3) Yudhi who then serves in Bogor, West Java and he has led 2 people to Christ and they are following up. (4) Taufan Anggoro, while he helps the ministry in Margonda, Depok, West Java and he also has led 2 people to Christ and they are following up. (5) Indarti. She is prepared to be the wife of Bro. Daino in Terentang, West Kalimantan. She helps to teach Sunday School and women under supervision of FIBC. There were 5 students from postgraduate program: (1) Pastor Hasiholan Sihite (pastoring in Pondok Aren, Tangerang, Banten); (2) Pastor Kusdaryono (pastoring in Kapuk, West Jakarta); (3) Evangelist Rakib (from Cibubur Baptist Church, East Jakarta); (4) Evangelist Parlin Simamora (serves in Cengkareng, Tangerang); and (5) Bro. Daniel Budiantoro (FIBC Pastor Assistant).

Starting August 2008, we have started a new semester for Bible College. Jakarta, April 15th,  2008

Dear Pastor and Mrs. Y.T Wee and church,

Our appreciation and prayers in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,

We are grateful for His grace that strengthen us in the work of ministry and we are thankful for your kindly prayers, mercy, and supports for us here.

We would like to share you what God has done by His grace through His servants here in Indonesia for the last two months.

First Independent Baptist Church, Jakarta

By God's grace, our struggle for 5 months in the midst of persecution and terrors in our work to build God's House was completed although we keep watching and waking because the threats from evils are of course unending. We are the only church, in fact, in our area surrounded by 38 mosques. We can not use the word church for our building and can not state it as a church. Instead, we use the word house of prayer and fellowship in telling what we do. But, actually we are still the same. We function as a church of God. Now, by God's grace, we have two floors. On the first floor, we have a classroom for Bible College, dormitory for boys and girls, and an office. While on the second floor, we have a meeting place. Now, there is a parking area for at least 10-12 cars and several motorcycles.

We thank you very much for pastor, family, and church members who are praying for us as partners to reach the lost people in Indonesia.

During two months, we have 6 converts baptized. They were Sahlan, Dian, Wati, Rizal, Maria, and Erikson. The last man stated, Erikson is staying with us in dormitory as Bible College students. Would you please praying for their growth and discipleship. Thank you.

FIBC's Bible College, Jakarta

We have 15 students now for under-graduate and next June, there will be graduation. Now they are making their papers and facing their last exams. For post-graduate, there are 12 pastors attending the class on Thursday afternoon. Next June, there will be 5 of them graduated for their masters and all of them are having their own ministries. Would you mind bringing them in your prayers, please. Thank you.
